  1. worked great

Posted by Unknown on 30th Apr 2017

The part worked perfectly and it was seamless.

  2. If it's got to be done right!

Posted by Ron on 27th Mar 2017

There are several 'repair' videos on youtube that deal w/gluing or otherwise half-assing this repair, but I have owned my 330i ZHP since new (13+ years) and I don't do half-assed. This part is pricey, no doubt, but it is the cleanest of repair methods and corrects the weakness of the original part's design. My car doesn't owe me a thing, so I figured it was worth it to do the job right. Installation was easy thanks to the video. Thanks to Tom for taking the initiative to offer this proper solution!

  3. THANKS!!!

Thanks to your video I was able to buy your part, and repair my E46s radio control button. I was just about ready to buy a new radio and you saved me the time, and money. THANKS!

  4. perfect replacement part

Posted by F. Kent Thurston on 29th Nov 2016

part arrived on time, was well packed, part quality is excellent, perfect fit, video instructions are good

  5. Works, video is great

Posted by Unknown on 23rd Sep 2016

Was a little worried about all the things that had to be removed from deck in order to get at the switch, but by following the video was able to dismantle it and get it back together with no problems. Now the stereo works and my wife is happy.

    Little spendy.

  6. Great Product! Great Instructional Video!

    Posted by robert4jc@sbcglobal.net on 4th Aug 2015

Not only does the part work on an E46 Alpine radio (to fix the common broken on/off button problem), the step-by-step video on You Tube is excellent, easy to follow, and works!

My only issue is $30 for a piece of plastic and two screws. But I suppose its better than tossing a $200-$300 radio.

  7. Worked as advertised!

Posted by Steve H on 13th Jul 2015

The E46 radio on/off button worked as advertised. The You Tube video that shows the steps made it pretty easy to accomplish. Thanks so much.

  8. Perfect fit

Posted by Gerardo on 6th Jul 2015

The replacement piece worked perfect and the instructional video could not be better.
    Thanks Tomas....

  9. As advertised

Posted by Jeff on 3rd Mar 2015

Great idea and great product, the part fits perfectly and the DIY video left out nothing. Very happy with it! I will probably order another one for my next E46, as I've yet to come across one with a perfect knob

On a side note, this will only fit '02 and up models, the '99-'01 "pre facelift" cars have completely different stereo guts.

  10. Thank you Tomas!

I wanted to extend a sincere thank you for your video on how to replace the e46 stereo on/off button. At first I was intimidated by the extensive disassembly and all the tiny screws, but I watched the entire video, ordered the part, bought a #1 screwdriver (and a trim removal tool), and finally got to work on it. I would not have ventured to do the repair myself had it not been for your excellent video. So thank you, thank you, thank you! I took plenty of photos and a couple short videos of the reassembled and fixed face plate and stereo. Your time, effort, and willingness to make this video has been greatly appreciated! May your business be extremely successful!
