1. Works

   This part and the video allowed me to easily repair the radio in my E46. The included screws were oversized, so the control knob bracket needed to be drilled out slightly to accommodate them. The new bracket seems to be sintered plastic, i.e. 3D printed; my first experience with such a material. As light as it was, I tried to snap it in half with reasonable force when I unpacked it, but it held firm. In fine, if your control knob stops working, this is the fix.

   The part was a perfect fit and I'm happy to know it was made to last. Like others have said, the screws were a bit big, but they were still usable. What keeps it at 5 stars was the video which was great! I do not fix cars or stereos or anything handy at all and I was able to follow along with the video and do it myself.

5. Repaired stereo to new

   The part was a perfect fit! Everything went together well. The only reason I did not rate this a 5 was due to the screws installed in the part. The supplied screws do not fit through the metal bracket on the switch. I had to drill out the bracket as the original screws were too small for the Holes in the part.

6. Great part, screws a bit too large

   The part worked great to fix my broken radio volume knob. And the instruction video really helped for the self-install. Thanks for offering this as it saved my broken radio.
   
   My only complaint was that the supplied screws had threads wider than the stock screws so they were a bit difficult to get through the metal plate for the volume knob and they left the knob just slightly skewed (not perfectly centered) after they were put on. And, because they were wider and already screwed into the plastic part when they arrived, I couldn't re-use the stock screws.
   
   While I appreciate the screws being included, I would suggest either getting the same screw thread size as the stock screws or at least not screwing them into to plastic part so that one can re-use the stock screws if they want.

   This piece fit perfectly and arrived on time.
   The screws were slightly larger than stock but they worked fine.

   Very good replacement part, dimensionally correct and clearly a more robust design than the original. Excellent buying experience with BavTech: the part shipped promptly and the installation video was very helpful. -1 for value, as others have mentioned, but it certainly fixes the problem.

   in my opinion, a little expensive for a piece of plastic, but will save you the expense of a new radio/cd. Obviously this knob is of much higher quality than the original one . despite the very informative instructional video to install the knob, I had some trouble placing a piece back on, a phone call to the company resulted in the correct procedure to correct this. 5 stars Customer service

10. Works great

    The video that shows how to replace this part was pretty clear, and easy to follow. I'm sure I saved quite a bit of money doing it myself, rather than have any mechanic or dealer try the repair (if they'd even attempt it). Obviously, the part seems expensive, given it's a little piece of plastic, but it's probably the cheapest option to have a perfectly functioning radio again.
