    I own a BMW 2001 (E38) 740iL. BAVTEK replaced the 16:9 Navigation Display AND performed the Bluetooth 4.0 music streaming modification. The unit was repaired and returned in less time than the advertised service level. It's been six months since I reinstalled the unit and I continue to marvel at the bright screen resolution AND streaming audio quality from my iPhone source. IMPORTANT NOTE: To E38 operators regarding the music streaming upgrade. My vehicle is equipped with the Harmon Kardon Radio with Digital Sound Processing. I strongly recommend turning OFF the DSP feature for best streaming sound quality. I found that the audio was muffled when DSP was turned on. I replaced all 14 speakers in the audio system a couple of years ago. I'm getting concert hall quality sound and am 100% satisfied with all aspects of the BAVTEK service experience.

This Repair Service is For The Navigation Display LCD Repair Model (16:9). Once your unit arrives at our location, it is carefully reversed disassembled the way the original manufacturer intended. This process requires a steady hand & technical knowledge, to assure a 100% lifetime repair. It also requires a recalibration procedure to center your display which others may bypass completely. We take pride in restoring your unit with the best quality OEM displays made by SHARP. After reassembly, it is thoroughly inspected on our stand alone bench test to receive it's warranty seal of approval before being sent back to you.
 
Bluetooth 4.0 Integration Music Streaming Only (optional)
Due to lots of requests I have figured out the way to add bluetooth into these vintage units. The bluetooth will work with the cassette player and will only work when the cassette is playing. A blank cassette will be supplied when I send the unit back. The Bluetooth circuit will be installed inside the radio so it will be clean as stock and no visible signs of modification. Also since the circuit board is wired directly to the chips, you're not going to have the loss of quality like you would on the Cassette Aux adapters they sell in stores.
 
With Bluetooth Installed the radio will no longer play regular cassettes. This is for the best possible quality from the Bluetooth Chip for your music streaming. If you want to be able to play both Bluetooth and regular cassette's, it can be wired up that way but the quality of Bluetooth Bass will be diminished. Its like having a jack of all trades, master of none. Please make a note that you want it to do both, if thats how you want it configured.
